PrintFactory Editor – it’s the one of a set of RIP-co-operating programmes included in the PrintFactory licence price, designed for prepress, preparation to print, edition, correction, adaptation of existing graphic designs, as well as creation of projects from the scratch.
The PrintFactory Editor programme is similar in functions to Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat Pro powerful software. With Editor you can design, edit, correct a.o. previously prepared via Adobe Illustrator PDF files created from vectors, i.e.: change object fills, outlines, edit text (if wasn’t earlier converted to outlines), change, add, convert colours, project orientation, size, perform simple manual editing, add and remove individual pages, change graphis, and much more. All of this can minimising the use of third-party applications such as Adobe software.
PrintFactory Editor works with a variety of file formats, including PDF, PSD, TIFF, JPG, EPS and AI files. It includes very interesting tools to assist the printing process:
- DTG separation,
- White layer creation,
- Contour management,
- Creation of contours from vectors in the project,
- Division into tiles,
- Adding bleeds, eyelets, folding lines,
- Preflight for validation the correctnes of graphic designs preparation to printing.
